Spring Valley proudly welcomes Cameron Lee as the new Head Coach of the Boys BasketballProgram. A product of Richland School District Two and a former standout at Ridge View HighSchool, Coach Lee has built a reputation as a dedicated leader with a passion for developingyoung men both on and off the court. Known for his disciplined approach, attention to detail, andability to connect with players, he has consistently emphasized accountability, teamwork, andacademic success throughout his coaching career.Coach Lee arrives at Spring Valley after four successful seasons as Head Boys BasketballCoach at Lakewood High School in Sumter, South Carolina. During his tenure, he built a highlyrespected program in the Pee Dee region, leading the team to three playoff appearances anddeveloping two All-State players. Spring Valley Cheer tryouts are in person from May 4th through May 8th. Tryout tickets (found in the tryout packet) are due by Friday, May 1st. Welcome Home, Megan Davis, Head Girls basketball Coach

Recently, the Richland Two school board has approved Coach Megan Davis as the next head girls' basketball coach at Spring Valley High School.Coach Davis played varsity basketball for 4 years for the Vikings and graduated. In her senior year of 2015, they won the 4A SCHSL State Championship under Coach Anne Long. She went on to play at Erskine College from 2015 to 2019, where she earned all-conference recognition and became a career 1,000-point scorer. Coach Davis returned to Spring Valley High School as an assistant coach in 2020, before recently accepting the role of head girls' basketball coach.

Eubanks Named Viking Head Baseball Coach

Coach Will Eubanks has been named as the head baseball coach of the Spring Valley High School baseball program.Coach Eubanks is a Chapin High School graduate who was a member of the 2018 SCHSL State Championship baseball team. Coach then graduated from Newberry College with a degree in Physical Education. While at Newberry College, he was a part of the 2021 SAC Championship team. Coach Eubanks has been coaching for five years at the high school level (3 years as an assistant at Newberry High and, since then, two years as an assistant at Blythewood High School). Coach WIll Eubanks said, “I am excited to be a part of the Vikings family and to be your head baseball coach. Go Vikings.”There will be a short introductory meeting after school on Friday (August 30) at 4 pm in the auxiliary gym for all returning players.
